A-Frame Signs
The A-frame sign, also referred to as a sandwich board or sidewalk sign, is a great way to turn casual passers-by into customers. A-frame signs are effective, affordable, easy-to-setup and are commonly used on sidewalks, in front of stores or by the side of the road to attract customers. They are ideal for real estate, sidewalk signs, open house signs, sales or promotions, directional signs, storefronts or special events.

How to Prepare Your Artwork
Bleed & Trim
1/8" on all sides of the document will be trimmed off, this is called the bleed. So the size of the file that you submit needs to be 1/4" higher and wider than the finished (cut) size. Make sure that all background images and colours extend into this area to avoid having a white frame around your design.
Safety Zone
Please adjust your text and important graphics to be 1/8" inside of the finished size on all four sides.
Colours
The file needs to be in CYMK colour not RGB
Resolution
The resolution of your file needs to be 300dpi
Submitting Files
We prefer a pdf file (including multiple paged projects) must be submitted as a single PDF file. Ensure that all pages are the same size. Make sure all fonts are converted to outline and all graphics are embedded and NOT linked.
Blacks
LARGE AREAS OF BLACK:
Rich black ( 40% Cyan, 40% Magenta, 30% Yellow, 100% Black ) should be used for large areas of black and will give a deep solid black finish.
SMALL BLACK TEXT:
100% black ( 0% Cyan, 0% Magenta, 0% Yellow, 100% Black ) should be used for small black text (12pt and smaller) and lines, this will result in crisp text and edges.
For a Blue that does not come out Purple
To get a proper blue that does not print purple the Magenta has to be less than or equal to the (Cyan value - 30) The reverse is true if you want to print purple
